1. You can keep these fishes in a 1ft. tank also the only thing you will need is an air pump. there is no need of filter as these fishes are very small they cannot bear the force. 

2. you can also add gravel or add plants which are used in aquarium in your setup  which guppies love the most. 

3. And a water heater. 

Water temperature for guppy fish

1.Guppies usually don't need heater but in winter season water becomes cold so that time you need a heater

2. Temperature must be around 22°C to 27°C not more than that.

3. But only use heater in winter season once a day. Then switch it off.

How to breed guppy fish

1. If you want to breed guppies in small quantity you will atleast need 1 male and 3 female guppies and maintain the water parameters and wait for your fish to breed  after breeding it will take around 26 to 31 days of gestation period  guppies don't lay eggs they directly give birth to the frys so prepare a hidding spot for frys sometimes guppies became cannibalistic  

2. After the frys are born  you can feed them brine shrimp.  

3. After the frys are grown you can keep them with other tank mates 

So there you are ready to keep guppies and breed in your tank.
